Career thought history 2011

2011 will go down as the year I became a blogger. Even the process of becoming one has been gradual and interesting. The first push towards it was discovering the Steve Wheeler’s blog, where one of the first posts I read was about why teachers should blog. The light-bulb moment was reading about ePortfolios in the EpCoP MOOC material where two comments in a portfolio showed the progression of a students ideas and feelings over time. I’m not sure I’ll ever use this in a portfolio but it will allow me to keep track of my ideas and how they have changed.
